Tutorial: Doll earring

At first sight it seems very easy to make this earring, and basically it is not so difficult, but this time the steps are not always exactly the same. The cord and the size of the beads influence the number of knots around the first two beads.

I have to be very attentive when making this earring, if I use another sizes of materials.

In this project you can learn adding a new cord in an easy way I haven’t shown you before. 🙂

Used materials:

  • 5 x 65cm waxed polyester cord per earring;
  • 3 x 4mm onyx beads per earring;
  • 1 x 6mm onyx beads per earring;
  • 2 pcs earring closures.

You will also need:

  • a workboard (mine is a covered swimming board);
  • scissors;
  • pins;
  • a big stitching needle;
  • and a lighter.
